1 1/2 years on Dialysis

It’s been a year and a half since I have been on dialysis. It is taking that long to work at all the Kinks figure out the right solutions for me. With low blood pressure high blood pressure dehydration stomach cramps pain drain. All issues with dialysis. Most patients only last 7 to 9 years on dialysis. Right now the wait in California is an 11-year waiting list for a kidney. so you can do the math. your clock is ticking. fortunately I’m on peritoneal dialysis. which is done at home. and is less abrasive than the other form of dialysis. fortunately my team at DaVita is outstanding and is done great work on getting me dialed in. still occasional ups and downs. I never know how I feel energy wise in the morning. but I make it through everyday. most important love. one more day. on this blog I will be keeping people posted of what’s going on what’s been going on on my continued journey goes with getting on the list at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix. it’s a long road. but I will make it.
